Today's article will help us fix retractable projector screens....

Fixing a broken retractable projector screen can be done simply with some duct tape, masking tape, or even packing tape.

To fix your screen you will need:

A small piece of fabric (about the size of your screen) Duct or masking tape A ruler to measure the screen length Duct or masking tape Glue Tape leftovers Fabric Scissors A pen to draw lines Straight pins

Measure the length of your screen. You can do this by placing your ruler along the outside edge of your screen and rolling it out until you've measured its entire width. The drawing below shows you how to measure a retractable projector screen.

If you measure your screen and it is too short, then you will need to roll it out further. If your screen is too long, you will need to use the scissors and cut off the excess length.

Make sure that the piece of fabric that you're using to fix your screen is large enough to cover the entire length of your projector's extension. Place one layer of duct or masking tape next to each other on all four sides of your piece of fabric. Cut off any excess tape so half an inch sticks around the edge of your piece of fabric. Roll out your screen about half an inch and use the straight pins to place at least two pins on each side near where your screen rolls in and out from.
